Any Given Child Shenandoah Valley is built on a collective impact model.  Partnerships are the lifeblood of our work.  The commitment and dedication of our partners is a gift to the children in our community whom they serve through Any Given Child. If you are interested in becoming a partner and serve students in our area, please contact J.R. Snow, Director of Any Given Child Shenandoah Valley.

Premier Performance Partner

The Forbes Center for the Performing Arts at James Madison University
In 2015, The Forbes Center for the Performing Arts joined Any Given Child to ensure students had access to their professional state of the art performance spaces.  Since that time, over 15,000 students have experienced music, dance, theater, and more through this partnership.
We are grateful for their leadership to help ensure equitable arts access to the students of our community.

Premiere Artist Partners

In 2021, Any Given Child Shenandoah Valley created new partnerships for organizations to share artists with the students of our community.  These partnerships ensure that high quality artists visiting our community have an opportunity to engage with our students,
during the school day, in their own buildings and classrooms.
We are grateful for these partnerships which share resources to ensure equitable arts access for the students of our community.

Why Are the Arts Important?

“The arts are an essential element of education, just like reading, writing, and arithmetic…music, dance, painting, and theater are all keys that unlock profound human understanding and accomplishment.”
–William Bennett, Former US Secretary of Education
