“I have been unofficially training for a lip sync battle for years. I travel every week for work so if you see me driving down the road and my lips are moving, I am singing. In the kitchen cooking, there is loud music and I am singing. Anywhere there is music, I am singing along. How this will this translate to onstage? I have absolutely no idea but I am willing to find some courage, possibly swallow some pride and give it a try. This busy, tired Mom is ready grab her peeps and break out into song and dance for an amazing charity. “ |
NATHAN MAYNATHAN'S BIO
Nathan's love for music began at a young age selling tickets for his own performance on his grandparents garage roof. Not much has changed as he now "performs" regularly with his students at Spotswood High School as their Choir Director and music teacher. Nathan, a.k.a. DJ Fit, also DJs/Emcees 30+ weddings each year around VA. He and his wife even sing professionally with Good Company, a local a cappella group and his 3 children all sing at home and beyond. Music will always be a part of his life so it stands to reason that eventually he would participate in a lip sync battle. Here's hoping he won't become TikTok famous for his bad performance, but still somehow raise lots of money for these important students and music programs. |

Tim TroyerTim's Bio
I grew up singing classic hymns in the Mennonite church and when in college I toured Europe with a school choir looking for my breakout moment. I thought that moment had finally come singing karaoke one summer downtown when I did “You Lift Me Up” by Josh Groban at the Dodger but was quickly made aware that “breakout” was far from what that performance was. I still sing from time to time when nobody is looking but that successfully killed my singing and hopes of a church songs career…….until now! |
