Position Summary:
The Communications & Operations Manager is a dual-impact leadership role responsible for elevating the brand presence and financial sustainability of AGCSV. This position serves as the primary architect of the organization’s public voice and supports its fundraising initiatives. This role is considered part time, remote, and has flexibility in work schedule.
You will bridge the gap between storytelling and fundraising—crafting a compelling narrative that inspires donor loyalty while managing the technical infrastructure (web, social, and data) that keeps the mission moving forward. Working closely with the Executive Director and the Board, you will ensure AGCSV is professionally represented, financially robust, and strategically positioned for future growth.

Work Environment:
This position is mostly remote and flexible with occasional support for fundraising events, board meetings, and some live arts experiences.
Compensation: $13,500-$15,000, commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
Public Relations/Communication/Brand Strategy
- Lead organization communication operations
- Promote awareness, understanding, and support for the mission
- Respond to inquire for information about AGCSV
- Create and implement brand management strategies
- Implement, manage, and maintain brand management including website, social media including newsletter, website, blog
- Maintain AGSV mailing list
- Communicate and manage marketing relationships
- Assist ED in development operations
- Support all fundraising activities
- Lead stewardship data collection for donors
- Develop and implement strategies, systems, campaigns, and other fundraising program plans for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting current and prospective sponsors and donors.
- Develop and sustain relationships with key donors and funders
- Identify, develop, and grow a diversified revenue base
- Identify resources requirements for current and future programs and projects
- Assist ED in following areas:
- Make recommendations to the board for new board membership
- Assist and advise the Board, while adhering to board-established policies and procedures
- Prepare Board meeting packets, including agenda, and email/post prior to meetings
- Make logistical arrangements for meetings
- Commitment to the mission and values of Any Given Child Shenandoah Valley.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills/knowledge
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, volunteers, and community partners.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Previous experience with communications/marketing preferred
